About Us
Welcome to Active Red
The main aim of Active Red training is to promote good health and movement - plain and simple.
Active Red is more than just ‘personal training’. We teach our students effective, functional movements that will give them increased body awareness and see them through a long future in exercise and sports free of injury and poor training habits.
Thanks to today’s modern lifestyle of sitting behind a desk and eating poor quality foods, humans have forgotten how to move well and now spend more time seeing the Phyiso, Osteo or Chiro than actually utilizing our bodies to their full potential. Starting any workout or exercise program without an understanding of how to move well is exactly how most injuries occur.
Active Red provides each of our members with a full postural assessment and the skills to correctly perform all of the foundation human movement patterns – including squatting, lifting, pushing, twisting etc. This approach provides the building blocks for efficient human movement.
Active Red has helped people from all walks of life including people suffering from back or knee problems, people with disabilities and even professional and Olympic athletes.
Training with Active Red is all about improving the efficiency of movement and learning the true keys to achieving optimal health in order to reach new levels of ‘real’ human performance. Not only does this improve the connection between mental and physical strength, it also improves self-belief and overall wellbeing.
